Refund Policy

How purchases of MonkeyForge are refunded: who handles it, what the law guarantees you, and what happens to your license.

Effective 18 September 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Who sells to you

Every purchase of MonkeyForge is made through Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”), our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller on your invoice, collects the payment and the applicable tax, and processes refunds. Paddle's Refund Policy and Buyer Terms apply to your order alongside this policy; where they give you more rights, the higher level applies.

2. Desktop Lifetime

Desktop Lifetime is digital content delivered immediately: the moment your payment is confirmed the License is attached to your Account and the App is unlocked. There is nothing to ship and nothing to return.

Purchases are final, with these exceptions:

  • The right of withdrawal, where it still applies. A consumer in the EU, the EEA, Switzerland or the United Kingdom may normally withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Before you pay, you ask us to deliver the License immediately and confirm that you understand this ends the right of withdrawal once the License is delivered (Czech Civil Code, Section 1837(l), and the equivalent rule elsewhere in the EU). Because delivery happens the moment payment is confirmed, the right of withdrawal is in practice lost with the purchase. If you bought without giving that consent — for example because the checkout did not ask for it — the 14-day right stands and Paddle honours it. Business customers have no right of withdrawal.
  • A product that does not work. If the App cannot be installed or activated, or a feature we describe on this site is missing or does not work and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a refund — for consumers this is a statutory right that this policy does not limit. Write to support@monkeyforge.dev first; most activation problems are solved in one reply.

We do not refund because a coding agent, model or tool you used through MonkeyForge behaved badly, cost more than you expected or was unavailable — those are separate products from separate companies. We do not refund a launch-price purchase because the price later changed, and we do not price-match a band you missed.

3. Cloud subscriptions

When Cloud services are offered as a subscription you can cancel at any time in the billing section of your Account; the subscription then ends at the close of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund part of a period you have started, except where the statutory right of withdrawal applies to the first purchase, or where we discontinue the service or remove something you paid for.

4. How to ask for a refund

Request it from Paddle at paddle.net (look up your order by e-mail) or through the link in your Paddle receipt. Paddle answers refund requests itself; approved refunds go back to the payment method you used, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. You can also write to us and we will pass the request on.

5. What happens to your license

When a purchase is refunded or a payment is charged back, the License it paid for is revoked and the App returns to its unlicensed state on every machine. Refund abuse — buying, using and refunding repeatedly, or charging back a purchase you are using — leads to the Account being closed.
