# MonkeyForge

> MonkeyForge is a desktop workspace for any AI coding agent: a task board, parallel agent panes, git worktree review and local project memory shared with every agent over MCP. Launch Claude Code or Codex from a task, or run any other installed CLI agent in a Shell pane.

- Platform: macOS 12 or later on Apple silicon, and Linux on x86_64 and arm64 (apt, dnf, Homebrew, AppImage). Windows builds are coming and are covered by the same license. Intel Macs are not supported.
- Install on macOS: the DMG from the download page, or Homebrew: `brew tap monkey-forge/tap && brew trust monkey-forge/tap && brew install --cask monkeyforge`.
- Agents: Claude Code and Codex are integrated (launch from a task, choose provider and model). Any other CLI agent runs in a Shell pane.
- Bring your own agent access: MonkeyForge does not resell or mark up model usage; you keep paying your agent provider directly.
- Local-first: projects, tasks and ForgeContext memory are stored on your machine. No Cloud plan is required.
- Current Desktop Lifetime price: €49 one-time, excluding VAT (the live price is on the home page).
- Cloud (Remote Mirroring from a phone or browser, tasks in the browser) is a planned monthly subscription and is not available yet.
